Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi passes away today, Sunday morning, at the age of 76 years in Agha khan University hospital, karachi.

Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi was born on 24 March 1944 in Lucknow, India. He became a world renowned shia scholar, and an author of over 300 books in different fields such as philosophy, science, culture and religion including books such as biography of Qasim ibn Hassan.
He was leading Mir Anees academy as a president and also was Editor-in-chief of Al-Qalm magzine.
He was famous not only for his lectures in philosophy, science and religion but also due to love for his followers.

His Famous Speech

He gained a lot of fame due to one of his speech in which he told about the shia people living in Nepal who beats themselves to death everyday and then become alive again. Since then he became famous in Pakistan, and a lot of people started making memes on him. People started calling him by the title “Murshid”.

Today’s morning, He suffered cardiac arrest and was shifted to Agha khan University where he took his last breath and has left his followers shocked and drenched in Tears.
His funeral prayer will be offered after Nimaz e Magrib in shahuda-e-karbala Imambargah.

The Governor of Sindh expressed his condolences on the death of Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi and said that May Allah give patience to his family.
